Just a few more days

Well I officially suck at blogging. It's now been over 2 months since I have written so here is a little of what's been going on.

Since we have moved Christian has gotten a job at a company called Artco and is really happy there. He work's for the "bridal" department and takes orders from the cavemen who are unable to figure out the website (He definitely has more patience than me).

I have had issues with looking like the hungry hungry hippo from extreme swelling which the doctor calls edema. If I don't sit my feet up all day my feet turn into kankles on steroids. I think I am comfortable enough with myself to post a picture...I think. Other than the swelling my blood pressure has been good and all other tests including the baby's have turned out fine. Well go ahead and say that I am not one of those women who enjoy pregnancy. I think they're nuts and should have the rest of my babys for me.

My grandparent's have been here for almost 2 weeks helping out and it's been super fun and eventful. I love old people. We play corn hole, take walks through D.I. looking for useless crap to put in my already cluttered home, eat really good but really bad for you food, and just sit around and tell inappropriate stories. What else are grandparents for??

We also got a kitten. This has been controversial issue with my family and friends. All I gotta say is... No, I don't touch the kitty litter and Yes, when the baby comes I will watch her like a hawk. She is really cute and her name is Lilly. We originally thought she was a boy and named her Leonardo and the vet informed us she was a leonardette. Oh well... three girls to one guy is Christians future!

My Induction date is set for this Tuesday. Exciting. I can't wait to hold her and see what she looks like. We're all taking polls about how much she'll weigh, her height, eye color and hair color, if anybody wants to throw in a guess... the winner will get the satisfaction of winning (:

My little sister had her cute baby Karson on August 24th and he was a whopping 9 pounds 7 ounces. He is soooo freakin cute and I am so sad I can't be there to snuggle with him.

Wish me luck in the delivery room everybody!

Good luck! And our cat has never once gone near one of our infants. I mean, she walks by them, but never sat on them, bit, scratched, nothing. As soon as Charlie was old enough (somehow she knew?) she started sleeping at the foot of his bed, but she never went near his bed until he was about a year and a half. Somehow animals know these things! So, still watch like a hawk, but it shouldn't be too controversial. =)
I know you'll do great tomorrow!

I am so excited for you! We have a cat & she & James are little buddies. She was always very protective of James. One time when james was sick she would sleep at his feet in his crib & it was the only way James would sleep. I am sure you kitty will do great, still keep an eye on things. Good luck & welcome to mommyhood!!! P.S.- read babywise! Best book ever & will save your life!
